I’d definitely buy the flexible type of cutting mats again…they hold up to tons of abuse, they’re easy to clean AND store, and since they’re color coded they’re probably healthier. And I’d do the ‘green’ recycled type again too, in larger sizes. But steer clear of the Oxo over the sink version. Not enough bang for your buck.

Some people are huge fans of Melissa & Doug thing. Personally, I think it’s a backlash against all the plastic toys out there. They look prettier, or something to that effect. That’s all well and good in my book. But what it really boils down to for me is that my son enjoys playing with it. So when my son was given this as a gift (along with the Melissa & Doug Pizza Party toy) I was stoked to check them out.
