I saw a commercial for this cleaner one day and I thought it looked like an easier way to clean the gunk off my smooth-top stove.  At the time, I didn’t clean it off as often as I should because it was a bit of a pain.  And truth be told, I’d usually ask Phil to do it.  We had been using the Cerama Bryte cleaner, and even though it did a phenomenal job, it was a hassle.  Lots of mess….lots of elbow grease.  So this new cleaner seemed worth trying, at the very least.  As a busy stay-at-home Mom, I’m always on board with trying stuff that looks like it’ll make life easier.

It comes with a handy dandy little handle, and you just stick the moistened pads right onto it.  Not sure how they stay on, they just do.  And that’s pretty much the entire thing, in a nutshell.  You just rub it around on your cooktop an everything magically comes right off.  It doesn’t even take a lot of pressure to remove the burnt on stuff.

My big problem is letting stuff boil over, and then it burns right on to the burner.  And anyone with the same type of cooktop knows that no cleaner whatsoever gets that burnt on stuff off.  But now there’s an answer!  The Scotch Brite Cooktop Cleaner.  I’ve become a huge fan and am going to throw out all my Cerama Bryte.  Unless anyone wants it??  If you do, let me know!

I’m also always on board with trying stuff that means I don’t have to rub in a circular motion for 20 minutes per burner!
