Wish List

These are the things I’m currently coveting.  If anyone has experiences with these, let me know!

  1. Neat Receipts – My husband sent me a link to this product recently.  http://twitter.com/TDefren/statuses/3432243659.  I have receipts dating back to 2000, as crazy as that sounds.  You’d be surprised at the number of times over the years that I’ve needed a receipt for something and been able to go pull it out of my file.  I save every single receipt we get.  But the problem with that is, I usually wait until the end of the year and file all of them all at once.  And not only do I file them, put I plug them all into my Excel spreadsheet….by hand.  So I’m sure you see why this seems like the perfect gadget for me.
  2. Oxo Salad Spinner – I’ve wanted this ever since I read in America’s Test Kitchen (of which I’m an online member), as their Salad Spinner product review winner.  But you didn’t hear that from me…wink wink.
  3. America’s Test Kitchen Family Baking Book – I have to have this.  Maybe Santa will stick it into my stocking this year if I’m good.  I actually prefer baking to cooking, and America’s Test Kitchen & Cooks Illustrated are really the only cooking authorities that I trust to never steer me wrong.
  4. Kindle – This never really did anything for me until my friend Ruth spent a weekend at my house, and she brought her Kindle along with her.  Awesome!
  5. iPhone – Yet another product that I never thought twice about, and certainly didn’t think that I’d ever need, until my husband brought his new one home.  The very next day we took a 2 hr. drive to pick up our new couch, and I ended up spending most of the drive playing with the new phone and downloading cool apps.
  6. The Demy – The Demy is the first and only kitchen-safe digital recipe reader that will revolutionize the way you cook. The Demy holds your personal recipe collection in one compact, sleek device. Featuring a high-resolution color touchscreen, an uncluttered interface and many special tools to make any cook’s job easier.
